I loved this book. It has great training fundamentals and the diet gets you lean when you stick to it. I'm glad that there are still good people out there who care about making a difference more than making a buck.
Before this book my training consisted of simply riding full gas everyday up a local climb. The training section of this book really helped me easily understand how to use my power meter and structure my training week so I could channel my enthusiasm into some decent fitness. Good value book.
This book is extremely detailed in terms of how to make the most out of your training and I would recommend it to anyone of any cycling level who's goal is to improve their cycling and take it to the next level. Paul's advice allows you to make your training really count so even though I reduced my training hours per week following his template I am now making faster progress and have more energy for other areas of life. The best cycling book I have read for those wanting to reach their best.
Every cyclist willing to be faster and healthier should read Paul's book!
